What is BTM (Biological Terrain Management)?

Medical and psychological systems that are based in reality tend to have common points of intersection, and thus, overlap. I found this to be particularly true with the works of Prof. Claude Vincent, Carey Reams, Abraham Maslow and Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt. BTM is a composite of these works. It is a measurement tool, using urine and saliva analysis, with which one can direct the course of any therapy and then evaluate patient progress in real time.
During the 1940s and 1950s in France, Prof. Vincent, a hydrologist, devised the BEV method (BioElectronique de Vincent) of analyzing the Redox, conductivity and pH of urine, saliva and blood to represent what was called the Terrain, or bioelectrical inner environment of the human body. This research showed that foods, therapies and environmental factors could influence and change these bioelectrical properties and thus the structure and function of the human system. During the 1950s and 1960s in the USA, a biochemist named Carrey Reams devised the RTBI method of analyzing saliva and urine values.
To our current great good fortune, Reams and Vincent measured and determined optimal human values before the advent of modern pollution. To determine optimal values today would be practically impossible. Because we have something to compare to, we can determine deviations from optimal. There are 12 different sets of urine and saliva value deviations from optimal, they comprise 12 different zones. Each Zone has it's own 'Edict', which represents the specific value that needs to be corrected first. The Zone database is a collection of information about which specific nutrients, remedies and therapies function the best when the person is identified as being in that Zone, to return the urine and saliva values towards optimal. Each Zone is associated with a weak and congested Meridian (from Traditional Chinese Medicine). The therapeutic goal is to keep the person at or near optimal, which then allows the Terrain to regulate, and the person to self-heal.

Biogram 1, to the left, shows what the body is 'keeping' (saliva values), or the body burden, and the deviation from optimal values is represented by the red shape. Biogram 2, to the right, shows what the body is eliminating (urine values), or functional efficiency. Specific therapeutic information is given in the Baseline Data and Baseline Protocol boxes. Notice that you can see the weak and congested meridians, adhesions, the Primary Strategy - which is the first step the person needs to take, and remedy suggestions.
Additional panels are run, especially at a new patient visit: after food to see if a person is gaining or losing energy after eating, and after a therapeutic intervention, to see if they are able to utilize the intervention they need.
By doing certain mathematical calculations, it was also possible to identify the patients predominant and hidden emotional shadow issues on Maslow's Hierarchy of the Emotions, and to distinguish whether the current issue was predominantly in the Cell or the Psyche. The circles show the Seven Windows of the Hierarchy. When the issue is predominantly in the psyche, the tip of the green arrow identifies the Window of Opportunity, which is where the person can be accessed the most effectively at this time. The 4 points identify the deeper issues. The Windows Remedies can then be used to add a burst of light into the particular 'shadow' issue that is blocking the person from further progress at the cellular level. A further corroboration was the fact that one arrives at the same basic therapeutic conclusions when using the RD resonance diagnosis method by Dr. Klinghardt or the urine and saliva analysis in BTM. This highlights the correlation between bioenergetics and biochemistry, validates that the information found with correct resonance testing can also be seen with biochemistry, and that biochemistry is indeed able to see the Body Electric.
The invention of the Terrain Complex Remedies, that target the cellular level, and the Essence Remedies, that target the psyche level, that are able to shift the biochemistry of the Terrain as measured with BTM urine and saliva testing, allowed for the further invention of the RD-Terrain Test Kit, with which specific Terrain imbalances can be correctly identified with resonance testing. Access to the BTM database through resonance testing allows one to know the primary meridian imbalance, the color need, where metabolically significant tissue adhesions are, most relevant remedy and therapy choices, and specific medicinal foods.
BTM is used for case management of all kinds. It adapts to whatever therapeutic tools you already know. A specific application of BTM, call HERMES, is used to prepare the patient for and then manage Five-Phase Heavy Metal and Chemical Detox.
